The Occupational Development Center, Inc. (ODC) is a community rehabilitation business that receives referrals for services from the Rehabilitation Services Branch of the Department of Economic Security and County Social Services.
ODC provides quality, accredited programs for those experiencing employment challenges. Through these programs, ODC has placed many people with disabilities in various working environments from cleaning and janitorial work to receptionist/office, retail sales, product sorting, general labor and restaurant work.
ODC’s workforce may also be utilized through custom product manufacturing and subcontracting within our facilities. We will meet or exceed quality standards and deliver on schedule.
All locations offer in-facility work and community employment within area businesses. Our services include job coaching, advocacy, safety training, career guidance and disabilities training to employers. Our services are ongoing seven days a week based upon the various work schedules, and are consumer driven and tailored to each individual's needs.
The ODC has been in business since 1971. What was once a small sheltered workshop now has nine divisions throughout northern Minnesota. However, the ODC is always in need of new work opportunities in order to offer a variety of jobs to our consumers. We actively seek new employment opportunities on a regular basis for both in-facility and community employment jobs.
